Estonia?!? Estonia.
And Latvia and Lithuania, too.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has taken on a new partner to expand its business to the Baltic Sea region by appointing Bioline as its franchise partner in the states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
It's just another piece of Enterprise Holdings' global strategy that it laid out 18 months ago to expand heavily globally, particularly across Europe, particularly with its Enterprise brand.
The company's car hire network already extends across all parts of Western, Northern and Southern Europe with more than 1,000 branches. The appointment of Bioline to serve the Baltic states gives Enterprise an outlet - and a foot in the door - to three brand new, yet growing, economies. Following this agreement - the terms of which were not released -- a phased roll-out will see the familiar Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand appear at Baltic locations, alongside an integration program designed to bring the businesses closer together both culturally and operationally.
Enterprise said Bioline is led by a management team with extensive experience in the Baltic car rental market. The company has branches at the major airports for Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. Bioline plans to develop its network across the three countries.
All three countries are members of the European Union.
Vice-president of global franchising at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Peter Smith, said in a statement: "Customer service is Enterprise's core business value. Throughout our expansion program, we've focused on partnering with the best company in each country, and with organizations that share our dedication to customer care."
