It's the biggest river ship in all of Europe.
Crystal is already one of the most popular and brands in cruising, and has entered a brand new market with the christening of the Crystal Mozart in Vienna, Austria. The ship's maiden voyage along the Danube River will begin a new era for Crystal, and mark the launch of Crystal River Cruises.
Four additional river yachts are planned by the end of next summer, and the fleet is set to be the standard of river cruising with an all-inclusive experience featuring spacious suites, personal butlers, the highest guest-to-crew ratio in river cruising, world-class cuisine and the only river ship with a full wrap-around promenade.
Amenities include casual and fine dining options as well as lounges and bars for relaxation. The uppermost deck will host all sorts of activities during the day including yoga and sunbathing, turning into a pop-up bar at night. The Crystal Life Spa will be the largest spa on any river cruise with an indoor pool and fully equipped pool, fitness and salon facilities.
Befitting the setting, complementary performances of Mozart and Strauss will be featured on all of the company's river cruises.
In a more modern touch, the Crystal Mozart will have Apple iPads in every suite to serve as ship directories. Each rooms will also have 40-inch flat-screen HD televisions. Common areas will showcase digital touchscreens to aid guests.
The 154-person ship will sail along the Danube River and visit ports in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, and Serbia.
