Fans of outlaw country love the artists that made the genre famous, and now there is an entire cruise dedicated to the music featuring popular bands and singers like Blackberry Smoke, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and The Mavericks.
According to OutlawCountryCruise.com, music cruise organizer Sixthman and production company Renegade Circus have teamed up to present the outlaw country music festival on board the 2,394-passenger Norwegian Pearl.
The four-night journey on the Norwegian Cruise Line vessel will begin on February 7, 2016, and will depart from Miami, Florida, before making a stop during the journey to the beautiful Cayman Islands.
Other bands and performers who will be involved with the concert series are; Bobby Bare, Bobby Bare Jr., Lukas Nelson & POTR, Shooter Jennings, Waymore's Outlaws, Elizabeth Cook, Dale Watson, Black Oak Arkansas, The Band Of Heathens, Nikki Lane, Preacher Stone, Roger Alan Wade, Mojo Nixon, Sarah Gayle Meech and more to be announced.
For those who love the SiriusXM radio station Outlaw Country, there will be live radio broadcasts and performances from the hosts and artists. Add in theme nights, contests, workshops, activities hosted by artists, rare collaborations and late night jam sessions, and this is a dream come true for fans of the country music sub-genre.
As if a stop in the Grand Cayman Islands wasn't enough to entice passengers, the ship itself is an adventure. The Norwegian Pearl has 13 bars and lounges, 19 dining experiences, one outdoor pool, two hot tubs, a bowling alley, The Pearl Club Casino and more.
If you are a fan of outlaw country and want to join this voyage, tickets start at $775 per person for double occupancy (without taxes or fees,) but the cruise offers discounts to those who travel with larger parties.
