Details have been scarce since Princess Cruises announced its partnership with celebrity chef Curtis Stone back in July, but we now have a name for his onboard restaurant.
SHARE, the creation of Australian celebrity chef and Princess Cruises partner Curtis Stone, will feature a unique menu of dishes designed to be shared on the high seas.
The restaurant will debut aboard the Ruby Princess and Emerald Princess in December.
"We're honored that Princess Cruises is the home of Curtis Stone's first restaurant at sea," said Princess Cruises president Jan Swartz in a statement. "We know our guests will enjoy the menu Chef Stone has created for SHARE and we're sure they will also feel right at home dining in his new restaurant..."
"SHARE is an exciting new enhancement adding to our guest experience intended to fulfill our 'come back new' brand promise," Swartz concluded.
Menu items include butter roasted lobster with caramelized endive and endive foam, twice cooked duck leg with fennel and bacon jus and parmesan crumb, among other options.
In a statement, Stone said that he's "worked feverishly to create elegant, tasty dishes that I'm really proud to serve in a beautiful and relaxed environment."
The dining room will be designed by the renowned Jeffrey Beers International. Highlights of the restaurant's interior decor will include benches upholstered in luxe Chesterfield tufted leather and objects from Stone's personal photograph and travel souvenier collection.
In addition to SHARE, "Crafted by Curtis" main dining room menu items will be made available aboard the Golden Princess this fall before being expanded fleet-wide through the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Curtis Stone's Chef's Table is expected to debut in early 2016.
