Las Vegas will only get more entertaining as Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino brings Elvis Presley back to Sin City.
According to Elvis Presley's Graceland - the company that controls Presley's intellectual properties - the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino will open the permanent exhibition, "Graceland Presents ELVIS: The Exhibition - The Show - The Experience" on Thursday, April 23.
The opening will take place 59 years after Presley first played Las Vegas in 1956.
In celebration of the momentous occasion, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Presley's ex-wife Priscilla Presley and their daughter Lisa Marie Presley. The festivities will also include the debut of The Elvis Presley Theater.
The exhibition at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino will turn a portion of the building where the legendary singer once performed into an all-encompassing Elvis experience. With the new theater showroom restored to the luster it had when Presley performed there and an Elvis wedding chapel, this is an experience no fan of the music icon can pass up.
