Conrad Hotels & Resorts is taking new steps to inspire guests across its two dozen global properties.
On Tuesday, the brand announced the launch of the "Stay Inspired" initiative, which will offer guests a customized and curated collection of experiences available at their destination.
The one-, three- and five-hour itineraries will highlight a variety of potential inspirations, from food and shopping to culture and adventure.
"Today's luxury traveler wants to discover destinations where they can be truly inspired. So we are shifting how not only our concierges communicate and connect with our guests, but all of our team members," Conrad Hotels & Resorts global head John T.A. Vanderslice said in a statement.
Conrad is teaming up with travel industry veteran Nilou Motamed to help propel the initiative. Motamed has been named Conrad's first-ever Director of Inspiration
"Through our partnership with Nilou, we have trained our team members and empowered them to make thoughtful recommendations within our destinations, stepping away from the standard transactional relationship between a concierge and a guest," Vanderslice added. "We now have become more like storytellers."
The good news for Conrad guests is that they won't have to worry about spending time sifting through TripAdvisor reviews or twiddling their thumbs in boredom.
"Guests want to use whatever free time they have while traveling to discover something new. They want to find those hidden gems that are off the beaten path and that can't be found in the pages of a guidebook," said Motamed in a statement. "This collection called the Conrad 1/3/5 curates content and experiences in a way that aligns with the way our guests live their lives."
The Conrad 1/3/5 recommendations can be accessed through the Conrad Concierge mobile app or at StayInspired.com. Otherwise, Conrad concierges will be on hand to assist guests in person at the property where they are staying.
