Swire Hotels disclosed details on the 532-room EAST, Miami, which will be the first U.S. hotel to debut in the company's EAST lifestyle brand.
The property, which is part of a massive Swire mixed use development at Brickell City Centre in Miami's Brickell district, is scheduled to debut this winter.
"Our brand caters to the tech-enabled, modern traveler and EAST, Miami will offer guests advanced amenities and services that suit their needs," said Brian Williams, managing director of Swire Hotels. "Guests will feel energized and comfortable here as we've designed this hotel with cutting-edge technology, design, guest room and pool options, and lively restaurants and bars to enhance their lifestyles and travel experiences."
EAST, Miami will offer what the brand calls a "paperless arrival and departure service" and free Wi-Fi throughout.
Accommodations will be nothing if not spacious, measuring between 300 and 1,800 square feet with balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows. They will include eight suites and 89 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences equipped with kitchens and laundry facilities for extended-stay guests.
On the culinary front, EAST Miami's signature restaurant, Quinto La Huella, will specialize in Uruguayan parrilla, or grill, in an indoor/outdoor setting. The hotel will also house a café and bar in the lobby, a poolside bar and lounge, rooftop bar, 20,000-square-foot pool deck area, 24-hour fitness center and a generous amount of meetings space.
EAST, Miami will be the third property to join the EAST brand. EAST, Hong Kong debuted in 2010 and EAST, Beijing in 2013.
