Global Hospitality giant IHG Hotels & Resorts unveiled that its premium boutique lifestyle brand Hotel Indigo will expand its global footprint of 135 hotels to 200 by 2025.

Hotel Indigo's projected record growth stems from strong owner interest in culturally diverse areas and neighborhoods throughout the Americas accounting for nearly a quarter of the brand's total global pipeline. Resort properties in Grand Cayman and the Bahamas are among its first Americas resort property signings, with a joint Atwell Suites property now open in Miami's Brickell Neighborhood.

Julienne Smith, Chief Development Officer, Americas, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: "Hotel Indigo's evolution is truly remarkable, and our team has worked hard to build and expand what is now one of the industry's most efficient and authentic branded boutique lifestyle hotel concepts. We're eager to continue our growth momentum and anticipate opening our next 100 properties in nearly half the time it took to open our first 100. We look forward to bringing Hotel Indigo to more inspiring and culturally-rich neighborhoods while introducing the brand's unique stay environment to more guests and efficient operating model to more owners."

Five of nine Hotel Indigo Hotels opened in 2022 are properties in the Americas and include:

-Hotel Indigo NYC Downtown - Wall Street

-Hotel Indigo Flushing - Queens, New York

-Hotel Indigo Omaha Downtown

-Hotel Indigo Silverthorne, Colorado

-Hotel Indigo Vancouver Dwtn- Portland Area

In addition, several Hotel Indigo properties have undergone major renovations in 2022. Hotel Indigo Nashville-The Countrypolitan recently upgraded its lobby, bar and restaurant embracing Music City's creative musical vibe with craft cocktails and a rotating roster of live musicians. Guests can also score vintage finds from the hotel's High Class Hillbilly pop-up storefront.

Before the end of 2022, Hotel Indigo anticipates property openings in New York's Financial District in and the Galapagos Islands.
