Collette Vacations President and CEO Daniel Sullivan Jr. announced the promotion of Seth Fandetti to director of online marketing. In his new role, Fandetti will oversee Collette's website including the development and execution of online marketing strategies. Fandetti's responsibilities include working with Collette partners such as the Smithsonian to grow the online brand; as well as use emerging social networking platforms and web technology to increase Collette's Internet presence. Fandetti says he wishes "to make the company website more than just a site that sells tours, but one that engages customers with new features and services that make Collette an industry leader." Fandetti began his employment at Collette in 2000 as Internet development coordinator and worked his way up to senior web developer in the IT department. Prior to coming to Collette, he was an Internet consultant serving many small to medium-sized companies in developing their web presence.
"We are happy to welcome Seth back after he briefly left Collette to pursue an opportunity in Boston where he gained some key management experience," said Sullivan. "His experience with the development and management of successful online campaigns will be a tremendous benefit to Collette's overall marketing strategies."
Fandetti holds a bachelor's degree from Roger Williams University and resides in Providence, R.I. He is based at Collette's corporate headquarters in Pawtucket, R.I. For more information, visit www.collettevacations.com.
