The 2017 Travvy Awards kicked off and honored the best tour operators and vacation packagers in travel.
These are the brands that open the world to the curious and shrink it on down to manageable sizes. If you ever wanted to see the most-gorgeous locales or experience the most unforgettable landmarks, these are the people you need to call.
Trafalgar led the statue count for the night with 10 awards overall (five gold, five silver). The Mark Travel Corporation, Travel Impressions and the Globus Family of Brands each scored seven statues apiece.
Mark Travel brands that won include Funjet Vacations (one gold, four silver) and one each for Blue Sky Tours and Southwest Airlines Vacations.
Travel Impressions took home six golds and one silver for its The Villa Experience by Travel Impressions brand.
Globus led the category in gold wins, taking home four gold statues and three more gold for its Monograms brand.
