The Travel Corporation (TTC), a global travel company with industry leading brands such as Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, Contiki and African Travel, Inc. has announced plans to increase the company's presence on the East Coast of the U.S.
"While we do have a small office in Rye, New York for the Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold brands, the majority of our infrastructure and executive presence is on the West Coast with offices in Anaheim, Glendale and Encino, California. After a strategic review of our businesses, we have identified the need and opportunity to establish an additional sales office on the East Coast, because of increased demand for our brands," said Brett Tollman, CEO of TTC.
Guy Young, a long-standing executive with TTC, has extensive experience in the industry, serving most recently as CEO of Uniworld. Young has been tasked with this initiative and will work closely with the various brands to identify business opportunities, build stronger relationships and establish a larger physical footprint on the East Coast. "Guy and I have worked together for many years and I know that he will be a great fit for this role," said Richard Launder, president of TTC USA.
The new office will be located in Manhattan and will be set to open early in the new year. With the opening of the new office, TTC will be hiring additional sales managers to increase the support to our travel agency partners up and down the East Coast. Young will relocate full-time to the East Coast next year.
"Over the years I have been fortunate to undertake many exciting roles with TTC and the Tollman family. I am extremely excited about this new opportunity and look forward to being able to help support our great brands as we look to increase our market share and presence on the East Coast," said Guy Young.
