Awards season is upon us and the 2017 Travvy Awards are fast-approaching. This relatively new celebration of the travel industry is quickly becoming one of the most celebrated events and the 2017 awards will be no different.
New York's Gotham Hall will once again set the stage for the Travvy Awards where the coveted gold statuettes will be handed out to a crowd of industry greats on Jan. 25, 2017.

Best Vacation Packager Overall: TRAVEL IMPRESSIONS
This year's top finishers in the highly competitive Vacation Packager category are not surprisingly two of the most dynamic in that market today. Two years after Travel Impressions was purchased by the Apple Leisure Group, it has transformed itself.
Under the leadership of Travel Impressions President and CEO Jeff Clarke, the company has redesigned its logo and strengthened its branding message with a new tagline for its mission ever since its early days: "Your success is our destination."
The tagline is an homage to travel agents, who are indispensable to Travel Impressions, as well as its supplier partners. The company has amped up the experience factor in its packages, launched a new Cuba program and developed its first loyalty program for travel agents, its only customers. The company is also working on a new booking and interaction technology that it promises will be "best in class."
RUNNER-UP: Delta Vacations
Delta Vacations has been growing, expanding and innovating at a furious pace in recent years to keep up with its parent company's vigorous growth.
The company has introduced one innovation after another, including a new Colombia program, apartment rentals in New York City, more luxury and boutique hotel offerings in Europe, a rewards program and the addition of Globus tours into its menu.
The company works closely with its travel agent advisory board, which it established a few years ago so it can move forward quickly and respond effectively to feedback from travel agents.
