Group travel provider Adventures by Disney announced its line-up of 2019 vacation options Thursday, including an all-new itinerary to Japan.
With the addition of Japan to Adventures by Disney's portfolio, the company now boasts more than 50 world-class family vacations across six continents, including exciting new ways for travelers to experience the world's top destinations.
As part of the new itinerary, Adventures by Disney teamed with the Japan National Tourism Organization to create a trip that is both culturally authentic and deeply immersive. The 11-day, 10-night adventure will make stops in Kyoto, Osaka, Takayama, Hakone, and Tokyo.
While in Japan, tourists will be able to explore historic shrines and temples, witness samurai swordsmanship, bike through farm villages, engage with locals, enjoy sushi crafted by master chefs and journey to famous neighborhoods and markets.
"Japan offers the perfect setting for an immersive and unforgettable Adventures by Disney experience," Adventures by Disney senior vice president Ken Potrock said in a statement. "This trip is designed to enrich and inspire explorers, giving them an authentic, hassle-free way to experience the rich culture of this magnificent country, complete with special touches and unique adventures that only Disney can provide."
In addition to the new Japan itinerary, Adventures by Disney revamped its journey to Alberta, Canada, to include all-new adventures in Calgary such as visiting farms and cowboy-style rope wrangling.
The company also recently announced offerings that can be added to a Disney Cruise Line sailing to make for the ultimate land and sea vacation, including destinations in Barcelona, New York City, Vancouver, Copenhagen and more.
