One of my favorite things about going to a new place is being able to try food authentic to that culture. Additionally, the resort's furnishings are made in Mexico from local woods and fabrics and Mayan flavor can be found everywhere from the artwork to the use of bright color accents.

ACTIVITIES
Going one step further to infuse authenticity, many Playa on-property activities are rooted back to the culture of its surroundings.
