There are some destinations that have high seasons and low seasons for travel.

For example, the Caribbean is usually more popular throughout the winter months when many U.S. destinations are experiencing cold temperatures. And some places such as Alaska are better visited during the summer months.

However, Switzerland is a destination you can send your clients to year-round, and Excite Holidays has a guide to download so you can share with your travelers everything this beautiful country has to offer.

Summer in Switzerland means open-air swimming pools, live music festivals including the annual Jazz Festival and barbeques by Leisee lake. The fall months offer hiking on Planet Trail, a trail running from Uetliberg to Felsenegg, and tours of the historic terraced vineyards of Lavaux.

Travelers who enjoy outdoor winter sports will have a blast traveling to Switzerland during the snowy months. Popular activities include skiing, snowboarding and ice skating. As the snow melts, spring brings with it beautiful blooming meadows that your clients will want a camera for.

No matter what time of year it is, Switzerland offers picturesque views, delicious cuisine and several outdoor activities to keep visitors busy.
