How Carlson Rezidor is recognizing your importance as home-based agents

Since 1992, we have believed in the power of the travel agent market and understood the importance of recognizing travel agents for their brand loyalty. As the travel agent model shifted and more retail storefront agents began working from home, we knew we had to continue to adapt to this change and provide an easy-to-use loyalty program that would enable you to not only provide your clients with the best hotel stays possible but also reward you for booking with us on a consistent basis.
Our Look To Book program has been rewarding travel agents like you, the readers of Agent@Home, for more than 22 years. During that time, there has been a shift in the industry as powerful web-based applications have allowed travel agents working from home to provide the same level of service as those in a retail office.
At Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, which includes the brands Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, we have noticed that more and more Look To Book members work from home-based offices. In fact, a recent survey of members this past April showed a full 25 percent of respondents are now working primarily from their residences.
We welcome all travel agents to join Look to Book and earn points for bookings at Carlson Rezidor hotels worldwide. Home-based agents who have an ARC, IATA, TIDS or CLIA number and live in an eligible country, such as the United States or Canada, can register at looktobook.com for a free and earn points at all Carlson Rezidor brands around the world. We have also further adapted to you, the home-based agent, and allowed agents who are not connected to a GDS to participate in our loyalty programs and earn points by booking their clients on any Carlson Rezidor brand websites.
Points may be redeemed for personal rewards such as retail gift cards from popular brands, prepaid cards and free travel. Once a member, you can earn Look To Book points every time you make a booking by including Master Chain Code CW and your personal booking information in the SI field of the GDS before ending or selling a reservation.
In addition to the usual 10 points per $1 paid by the program for consumed bookings, Look To Book regularly offers promotions for bonus points that allow you to earn rewards even faster. We recommend that you maintain a current email address in your profile so you receive program news and promotions. We don’t want anyone to miss out on the great promotions and sweepstakes we offer throughout the year, so its important that members have an updated Look To Book profile and receive our emails.
The Look to Book program’s website and Facebook page are also regularly updated with special offers, new hotels and more. Agents who work from home also find that the Look To Book Facebook page provides a connection to other travel agents around the world. Members who visit the page can also be recognized and win 50,000 points by being selected as the “Fan of the Month.”
Recently, Look To Book rolled out a new way for members to earn points with the introduction of QuizBook in May. You can now visit the Look To Book site each month to view a brief hotel training module followed by a short quiz. Agents who pass the quiz can earn 500 points monthly, which adds up fast and helps members earn rewards more quickly.
