You've Got Help
All-inclusives provide you with resources and promotions to close more sales

Major all-inclusive resort companies value their relationships with travel agents and offer numerous programs to help you sell their properties. These programs range from promotional offers for your clients to training programs and fam trips designed to increase your product knowledge, as well as loyalty programs that aim to drive sales and cultivate a strong partnership.
We examine the programs that major all-inclusive resort companies have to help you sell their products.
All Inclusive Collection
This company’s Hard Rock all-inclusive resorts are helping travel agents sell more Hard Rock vacations with its “$1,800 Limitless Resort Credit” promotion at each Hard Rock in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Guests get unlimited use of their resort credit — no cutoffs per diem, no coupons and no limits on any service.
And, the longer the stay, the larger the credits. For example, clients staying seven to eight consecutive nights get a resort credit worth up to $1,800. Resort credits range from $500 to $2,500 (three nights to 12 or more nights). Additionally, guests booking in higher room categories can accumulate more credit for their Hard Rock stay.
Available for bookings through Dec. 15 for travel through Dec. 23, the $1,800 Limitless Resort Credit promotion lets guests choose from various off-site tours and on-property activities. The combination of options is unlimited, allowing Hard Rockers to mix and match amenities and make the most of their vacation experience.
Clients can also choose from three exclusive variations in the Resort Credit program: Pure Limitless Resort Credit, Limitless Resort Credit + Unlimited Golf, or an exchange of their full Resort Credit for Unlimited Golf at the resorts’ golf courses.
All Inclusive Collection also offers Kids Stay Free and Colin Cowie Signature Wedding Collection promotions.

IBEROSTAR has long valued travel agents, who account for about 70 percent of the company’s business, John Long, IBEROSTAR vice president of sales and marketing, North America, told us during a recent conversation.
One of the ways IBEROSTAR helps agents sell its all-inclusive resorts is by sponsoring agents on familiarization trips to provide them with the personal experience they need to effectively sell the product. IBEROSTAR has been offering fam trips to its popular IBEROSTAR Playa Mita resort over the past two months. It’s part of an incentive program that offers themed trips to top-producing agents approximately once every quarter.
Beside fams, IBEROSTAR offers special rates to agents so that they can experience the properties. The company is currently offering 35 percent discounts to agents through its official website, www.iberostar.com.
Several levels of discounted wedding packages are also available.

Palace Resorts
Palace Resorts announced the launch of the redesigned PRO Specialist travel agent training program last September. The program aims to further develop the brand knowledge of travel agents so that they will become Palace Resorts experts in the eyes of the consumer.
PRO Specialists receive access to marketing tools and an interactive educational source that allows agents to fully learn about the resorts and their key amenities that are important to today’s travelers. PRO members can take advantage of educational events, personalized marketing consultations, logo usage, custom marketing materials and opportunities to partner with Palace Resorts in national co-op ad campaigns.
Palace Resorts’ inside sales team offers up-to-the-minute support, assisting agents with product updates to help increase revenue.
The PRO Specialist program consists of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum — each offering specific advantages and perks that range from invitations to private events to discounts on spa and golf to complimentary airfare. Additionally, the PRO Specialist program rewards agents with incentives such as free nights through the “Ready.Sell.Stay” program, discounted rates and cash bonus rewards.
Palace Resorts also has a debit card rewards program called “Cash Is King,” providing agents with faster access to their rewards. Agents can use their Cash Is King debit cards to pay bills, shop online and in stores, withdraw cash at ATMs and more. Agents must register their Palace Resorts booking online via the website www.CASHISKINGBONUS.com to receive their debit card and booking bonus reward.

Sandals Resorts & Beaches Resorts
The Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts online Travel Agent Portal was developed to help agents book and pre-register their clients via the portal. Agents can also order collateral materials and brochures, or receive a co-branded site to help drive business.
Certified Sandals Specialists (CSS) receive exclusive educational opportunities and marketing materials. To become a Certified Sandals Specialist, agents must complete a four-hour streamlined CSS workshop that offers detailed information on all of the company’s resorts and amenities. Certified Sandals Specialists receive customized services, sales and educational support; earn free stays through Sandals Resorts’ popular “Sell & Go” program; qualify for resort services discounts; and earn marketing dollars for their agencies.
The Preferred Sandals Agency (PSA) program builds travel agency relationships by working with each agency’s unique business model to cultivate and increase sales for both the agency and Sandals Resorts. To qualify as a PSA, the agency must have one active CSS agent and produce a minimum of 25 traveled bookings to the resorts.
Sandals’ most exclusive specialist programs is the Chairman’s Royal Club (CRC), which recognizes a select group of top travel agents who continuously produce results and demonstrate loyalty to Sandals resorts.
