ASTA, NACTA Unveil Fall 2018 Fam Lineup
Options include a luxury cruise and trips to India, Nepal, and Romania.

The National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) and the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) are jointly offering a fascinating series of familiarization trips throughout the rest of this year. Here’s a summary.
Sept. 10-17, 2018: “Alluring India—Lands of Living Traditions.” This seven-night itinerary explores the kaleidoscope of traditions, cultures and vibrant geographies of India. Participants will visit Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur. Experiences include a rickshaw ride, evening and sunrise at the Taj Majal, and a camel cart ride. The double occupancy rate for NACTA/ASTA agent members starts at $1,120.
Oct. 26-Nov. 2, 2018: “Dracula Tour of Transylvania.” This seven-night trip includes Halloween day at “Dracula’s Castle” and a Halloween party in the Old Town of Brasov. This fam is being led and hosted by Catalin Mogoseanu, the ASTA chapter president for Romania. Transylvania, a region in central Romania, is known for medieval towns, mountainous borders and castles like Bran Castle, a Gothic fortress associated with the legend of Dracula. Brasov has Saxon walls and bastions, an expansive Council Square, ringed by colorful Baroque buildings, the towering Gothic Black Church, and cafes. The double-occupancy rate for NACTA/ASTA agent members starts at $1,354.
Nov. 17-25, 2018: “Nepal—Experience the Roof of the World.” This eight-night trip explores Nepal, the highest country on Earth and commonly referred to as the “roof of the world.” Learning about the destination will open the doors to you for the many clients who have Nepal and Mount Everest on their bucket lists. The double-occupancy rate for NACTA/ASTA agent members starts at $1,950.
Dec. 7-21, 2018: “Pacific Coast Panorama Cruise” on the Crystal Serenity. This 14-day voyage sails roundtrip from Los Angeles and visits Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Ensenada, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, La Paz, Cabo San Lucas and San Diego. ASTA/NACTA member pricing starts at $1,547, plus port charges and taxes of $644, for an ocean-view stateroom.
