Big News for 2019!
Starting January 1, Vacation Agent and AGENTatHOME will be published as a single title 24 times per year, all under the AGENTatHOME brand!

Just in case you haven’t heard, Vacation Agent and AGENTatHOME are getting married with the January 1 issue! The best aspects of both publications, currently alternating every other week, will be published as a single title 24 times per year—all under the AGENTatHOME brand!
With more than 70 percent of travel agents today working from home, there was no stopping us in making the decision to expand and meet the ongoing information needs of these travel entrepreneurs. The content will be 100 percent targeted to the needs of this audience, and with a 100 percent focus on selling leisure travel.
In a recent study by GfK MRI, travel agents across the country shared their feedback on what they’d like to see in the new AGENTatHOME magazine. Two of the key findings had to do with professional reviews and insights into products and destinations. We’ve always included product reviews in Vacation Agent, but will expand that coverage based on the agent feedback. And as we’ve always done, we will make sure you get exactly what you need.
If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to visit AGENTatHOME.com and subscribe to the magazine. It doesn’t matter if you don’t work from home yet, as we have a group of agents who are still based in storefront locations and subscribe to the publication.
If you’re not sure why you should subscribe, here’s the reason: It’s the only publication that addresses the marketing, product and destination needs for any travel agent today. Even if you’re getting paid a salary, you should be cognizant of your own marketing needs in order to drive sales. Let’s face it, travel agency owners expect you to generate business on your own—and that’s where we can help you dramatically, no matter where you sit and do business.
A big trend with the storefront audience that subscribes to the magazine is the desire to gain flexibility in their work lives and transition to the move home. With the new AGENTatHOME, you’ll be able to ramp up your skills in areas you may be lacking in, giving you exactly that opportunity!
If you’ve loved Vacation Agent and all the great product information we’ve been doling out since 2005, don’t hesitate to make the switch to the new AGENTatHOME. You’ll be privy to expanded coverage in that area, plus a whole lot more to keep you on that path of success.
