Choose Fun with NACTA and Carnival!
NACTA’s annual conference couples a land stay in DC with a weeklong Carnival Pride sailing.

You’ll “Choose Fun” when you opt to cruise on Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Pride as part of the annual conference of the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA). You’ll also learn firsthand about this Baltimore-based cruise ship and the fun Carnival promises on all its voyages.
NACTA’s 2018 conference is called Room to Cruise, because it includes several days on land at the Washington D.C. Hilton Aug. 23-25 and a weeklong cruise to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Freeport Aug. 26-Sept. 2. The voyage includes NACTA events and receptions.
Carnival is a sponsor of the NACTA conference, along with Carey International and Luxury Retreats. That proves these companies are proud supporters of NACTA and its members.
“NACTA agents are dedicated and skilled travel professionals who take great pride in providing their clients with a value-filled and enjoyable vacation,” said Adolfo Perez, senior vice president of sales and trade marketing for Carnival Cruise Line. “We at Carnival work closely with NACTA agents through in-person and group sales training as well as strategy sessions that meet their specific needs. Whether the NACTA agent we’re working with is home-based, independent or part of a larger group, we tailor the sales training we engage in with them in a way that will best benefit business goals.”
Aboard the 2,124-passenger, 88,500-ton Carnival Pride, you’ll find an array of dining options, from the Zen-like simplicity of Bonsai Sushi to the Art Deco ocean liner inspiration of the Normandie Restaurant, not to mention the Renaissance-era allure of David’s Steakhouse.
For something more casual, grab a burger and fries at Guy’s Burger Joint, created by Food Network star Guy Fieri. For some Mexican heat, head over to the BlueIguana Cantina.
For entertainment, check out Beauties Dance Club or the musical shows put on by Playlist Productions. Carnival Pride also features an adult-only pool at Serenity, a mid-ship pool with a retractable roof and a splashy waterpark, Carnival WaterWorks.
It’s movie time at the Carnival Seaside Theater, while Seuss at Sea is a good time for kids who love a good rhyme. Hasbro, The Game Show, brings kids and adults together in a larger-than-life game show showdown—not to mention the Lip Sync Battle held every cruise.
The Carnival Pride offers six- to nine-day cruises to the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean, as well as some that exceed 10 days.
Through May 31, agents who book their NACTA Conference Cruise Stateroom on the Carnival Pride will receive a free online course “Professional Fees—Strategies and Solutions” from ASTA’s Verified Travel Advisor program, a $190 value.
