Crystalizing Results with Agent Studio
Agent Studio provides agents with all the tools they need to help them build their Crystal business.

With a growing array of luxury travel products, Crystal Cruises wants to make sure travel agents—and their clients—are aware of everything the luxury company offers.
Crystal turned to Agent Studio, which partners with individual agents, home-based or otherwise, and enables suppliers to reach travel advisors’ customers and prospects. Cooperative partnerships are what get suppliers in front of travel agents’ customers. Agent Studio brings efficiency to those partnerships—and suppliers aren’t paying and hoping to reach clients, with Agent Studio they actually see results.
“We have worked with Agent Studio for years, always trying their new initiatives—digital banners, email, special offers, pricing feed, webinars, as well as a virtual tradeshow—to reach the travel agent community,” said Carmen Roig, Crystal’s senior vice president of marketing and sales. “Being able to engage with agents and have the most up-to-date information available for them and consumers has been extremely valuable—and the fact that it’s offered at no cost to suppliers underscores that value.”
Here are highlights from a conversation with Roig:
Agent Studio allows you to speak directly to agents’ consumers, alongside their brands—does that drive higher engagement and sales?
It drives higher engagement, which we see more specifically over digital channels, providing the agent community with tools to help them build their Crystal business. Utilizing educational tools like webinars, we have seen our agent community grow through Agent Studio.
Crystal has been a preferred partner of Agent Studio for years, and by doing so has supported the more than 10,000 agents and agencies using the platform who sell or want to sell Crystal. What types of programs have you pushed out to these consumers and how effective have they been for you?
We have been able to share our most popular promotions like “Kids Sail Free” on select ocean voyages, river and ocean six- to nine-day Crystal Getaways, and the wide variety of theme cruises we offer around the world. These have been a huge success with our guests. We also released our 2020 World Cruise and complete 2020 ocean itineraries and saw a significant increase in inquiries.
As more and more agents are adding their clients and prospects to the marketing platform, how has this growth and engagement worked for Crystal?
It has amplified our reach and increased awareness, keeping Crystal top of mind with all of our Agent Studio initiatives.
