What’s Your Vision?
How to make goals you'll stick to in 2019.

With the start of each New Year comes the task of setting personal and business goals that you hope to achieve during the next 12 months.
For many of us, personal goals—getting fit, painting the house, taking a vacation—come easier than setting business objectives. So how can we change that?
Vision Board
The answer came to me as I was updating my vision board for 2019. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the concept, vision boards enable us to manifest our life desires by putting together a collage of pictures/symbols/words from photos, printouts, magazines, stickers, old posters, etc., which represent what we want to achieve in our life over a certain period of time.
Chart Your Future
Vision is power, so instead of struggling to write out your business goals, get creative and design a vision board for your agency. Create a chart showing the monthly increase in sales you wish to achieve and track your progress on the chart. Show the destinations you wish to learn about and/or visit and check them off your vision board when you do. Be sure to also add the technology platforms you want to explore, along with what issues they will solve.
Flesh Out the Details
Track your progress and thoughts for each of your goals. If you are looking to expand your agency, add images for the number of agents you want to bring on and visually track your progress. And don’t forget those specialty niches you want to learn about. You will be surprised by the effect your visual goals will have on your day-to-day business activities.
Display your vision board on your desk or on the wall in your office. Visually connecting with these goals will keep you focused on your business priorities and help keep you on the right track.
This powerful tool is a tangible reminder of what we want in our future, and it helps us invest time and energy into our life goals.
