 With hundreds of inches of snowfall a year,   Breckenridge is characterized by a subarctic continental climate.  During the winter the temperature averages from a high of 30°F to a low of 15°F.  In the summer the weather fluctuates between a high of 70°F and a low of 45°F.  Breckenridge’s ski season (November to April) experiences daily highs in the upper-20s and lows slightly above 10°F.

Denver International Airport (DEN), Colorado Springs Airport (COS) and Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) are the major gateways into the Breckenridge for international and domestic flyers.  Free Ride buses connect passengers to many attractions within the town.  From 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM the Summit Stage services transportation to neighboring towns in addition to different resorts.  Breckenridge’s small landscape and picturesque surroundings are perfect for exploring on foot.
