About

Nestled at the base of Pikes Peak; Colorado Springs, Colorado is a unique and refreshing destination that is a blend of outdoor recreation, diverse culture, and Western Americana. Geological formations, turbulent waterfalls and mighty mountain backdrops set the scene for travelers who come here in search of some of the most inspiring natural scenery that the United States has to offer.
As the second largest city in the state; Colorado Springs bursts with electric energy from both the wild landscape and the magnetic young population. Local music, art and theater flow down the streets of the city and continually rush in and out with the tide of each new festival that comes to town. The Colorado Springs Philharmonic is the region’s only full-scale professional orchestra, while the Fine Arts Center hosts a variety of culturally relevant artistic events throughout the year.
Natural attractions like the red sandstone formations of the Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, the underground Cave of the Winds and the Manitou Cliff Dwellings are some of the staples of Colorado Springs and are not to be missed. The ultimate city landmark, Pikes Peak, soars over 14,000 feet and boasts views straight from a postcard. The dry, perpetually sunny weather allows for outdoor adventures of all kinds to be had. Whether horseback riding through peaceful prairie settings, taking a hot air balloon ride over mountain summits at sunset or whitewater rafting down the rapids of the Arkansas River; Colorado Springs will fulfill the adventure requirements on any trip.
