America's 10 Best States for Pet Lovers

The only thing better than traveling the country is doing it with your beloved pet by your side. Joy Organics recently produced a new study comparing data and lifestyle factors across the United States to reveal the best states for pets and their loving owners. The Best States for Pets Index looks at the amount of social media pages dedicated to pets; pet product sales; the number of shelters, rescues and welfare organizations; percentage of pet owners per state and the number of dog-friendly restaurants, bars and other food and beverage venues per 100,000 people in each state. Here are the states that fared the best for travelers with four-legged friends.
