Amidst all of the other enormous responsibilities that come with the office of the President of the United States – and the de facto title of ‘most powerful man in the world’ – decisions about the travel industry are important, albeit not necessarily as high on the list as foreign policy, or the military, or the economy.
The four years of the Trump administration were completely different.
From implementing a travel ban on mostly Muslim countries shortly after his January 2017 inauguration to dealing with the ramifications of a global pandemic, President Donald Trump made some decisions that certainly impacted the travel industry in his four years in The White House.
Ahead of the Jan. 20 inauguration of President-Elect Joe Biden, here’s a look back at some of those impactful moves. (In no particular order)
