The fees just keep coming, as the government continues to use the travel industry as their own personal ATM to solve bad budgeting.
New Transportation Security Administration fees are coming, thanks to Congress. The fees may seem like a pittance but added on to every other fee paid for a flight, the amount the traveller is absorbing in fees is way beyond absurd at this point.
The new fees alone are projected to add up to nearly a $17 billion windfall for the federal government over the next decade. Think that will add up to more organization and shorter security lines at the airport? Don't hold your breath.
