Don't Be This Messy Passenger

An unidentified air traveler is being shamed on social media after a Reddit user posted a photo and caption alleging the man dumped his food tray and trash in the plane's aisle after he was finished.
The polarizing post has inspired more than 2,200 comments in four days on Reddit alone, with many users drawing comparisons between the passenger and their furry friends.
"My pets wouldn't do this," wrote one person. "And here I thought animals had to ride with the cargo," another added.
"Can confirm, if my dog were on the plane, that tray would be spotless," wrote a different user.
Others said they would have confronted the man if they were on the flight.
It's not clear what airline the photo was taken on or where the flight was traveling to and from. The man seated next to the mess appears to be reading a book, presumably the reason he needed to ditch his leftover meal.
Interestingly, People.com points out that a user claiming to be a flight attendant said passengers dispose of their trays in the aisle "all the time."

While flight attendants undoubtedly prefer messy passengers over disruptive ones, leaving your trash scattered across the aisle is a surefire way to get on their bad side. Even worse, you might end up the despised subject of a viral social media post.
Abusing drugs and alcohol, engaging in sex acts and relieving yourself on other passengers are other major no-nos.
