Interjet continues its exponential growth.
After reporting record passenger growth in Mexico, the airline announced it's adding more flights.
Starting June 14, 2018, will fly from Mexico City to Orlando International Airport (MCO). The new service replaces its current Orlando Sanford (SFB) flights and increases service from four days to seven days per week.
The additions come as passenger demand increased to Orlando. The new flights will use Airbus 320 aircraft with a capacity for 150 passengers.
Flight 2880 will depart Mexico City at 10 a.m. and land in Orlando at 2:35 p.m.
The return journey, flight 2881, leaves Orlando at 3:30 p.m. and lands in Mexico City at 6:05 p.m.
"Interjet is always looking to improve its services, so with this increase in flights, now arriving at the Orlando International Airport, it will offer an additional advantage to its customers. We are confident that these new operations will generate benefits for all, " Julio Gamero, commercial executive director of Interjet, said to Enelaire.mx.
The airline has also recently added flights between Mexico and Texas. New nonstop routes will connect Houston and San Antonio with Guanajuato. The flights will begin on June 22.
The airline also recently launched service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport from Guadalajara International Airport.
