Police Respond to Three Separate Incidents at Logan Airport
Airlines & Airports Michael Isenbek November 23, 2014

Business as usual at Logan Airport was disrupted three different times on Saturday, according to boston.com. The first call at around 11:23 a.m. was regarding a person screaming in a car with a broken windshield in Terminal E’s parking lot. Later found in Terminal B’s lot, the vehicle contained a 52-year-old male and 21-year-old female. The female accused the male of assault, and he was arrested and charged with assault and battery and kidnapping.
Half an hour later, police were called again when witnesses saw a 26-year-old man enter a woman’s restroom, strip naked, and climb into the ceiling. He ended up falling through the ceiling, sustaining cuts all over his body. Exiting the bathroom, he randomly assaulted an 84-year-old man, who was hospitalized. During the takedown scuffle by police, an officer also sustained injuries.
That same morning, former Red Sox pitching great Curt Schilling was going through Logan security with his family when his son remembered that he had a toy grenade in his luggage. This was seen by scanners, resulting in a call to the bomb squad. The TSA (re-) confirmed that “replica explosives” are not allowed on flights.
No flights were delayed as a result of these incidences.
