South African Airways Launches Nonstops to Ghana

South African Airways is launching new service between Washington D.C.-Dulles International Airport and Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana.
Beginning Aug. 3, the Washington-Accra flight will be the only nonstop flight between Washington D.C. and Ghana.
The SAA flight will also provide the only service between West Africa and North America operated by a Skytrax four-star rated airline.
Flights to Accra will be offered four times a week, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with continuing service to Johannesburg, South Africa, SAA’s home airport and its hub for all of Southern Africa.
SAA will reduce its flights from Washington D.C.-Dulles to Dakar, Senegal, to three times a week, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
SAA is offering the flights at a special launch price of $899 per person roundtrip. The price is valid for purchases made May 27-June 26 for travel Aug. 3-Oct. 31.
