Turkish Airlines Expands Stopover Service

Turkish Airlines has expanded its stopover service for travelers flying from U.S. gateways.
Passengers can enjoy Turkish Airlines fantastic service to destinations around the world, including Africa, Eastern Europe and Balkans, South Europe, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Russia, Iran and Kazakhstan and combine any of those places with a quick trip to Istanbul as well.
“Turkish Airlines’ ‘Stopover’ program aims to create an elevated experience for our passengers, as well as contributing to Turkey’s tourism activities by bringing in-transit passengers from Turkish Airlines into our fascinating hub city, Istanbul,” Ahmet Olmustur, chief marketing officer of Turkish Airlines said.
“As a global airline, we know the importance of offering comforts both in-flight and on the ground in a destination, which is why we look forward to continuing to bring these enhanced services to our passengers,” added Olmustur.
Passengers connecting through Istanbul from the U.S. with a layover of more than 20 hours can even receive a free hotel stay. Economy-class passengers will receive a one-night stay at a four-star hotel, and those flying in business class receive up to two nights in a five-star property in Taksim. Passengers completing the booking process will receive vouchers for the accommodation.
Business-class passengers can also take advantage of the Istanbul Bosphorus Experience, which includes a tour of the Bosphorus on a luxury motorboat as well as sightseeing at historical landmarks such as the Maiden's Tower, Topkapi Palace, Galata Tower and Dolmabahce Palace offered at a special price.
