Business travelers, relax: You’ve been accounted for at Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort.
Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, which opens in August, will debut with 37,750 square feet of meeting and event space. That includes eight meeting rooms, two event lawns, two ballrooms and several outdoor terraces.
“We felt when designing the meeting space that we wanted to create space that was very flexible and could stand the test of time as meetings change and evolve moving into the future,” said Brian Plott, director of sales, Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. “A great example of this are the airwalls in our foyers. While the foyer area can be used for a larger group, we have built in the option to use a portion of the foyer for a smaller group so it is more of an intimate feel.”
Four Seasons Orlando will feature two levels of meeting and event space: the Lobby Level and the Palm Level.
The Lobby Level will include the Grand Ballroom, which boasts 14,000 square feet of meeting space, crystal chandeliers, a 21-foot recessed ceiling and floor-to-ceiling arched windows. The Grand Ballroom can be divided into three separate areas. The two accompanying outdoor spaces range from 5,000 to 7,000 square feet. The Lobby Level will also feature the 1,472-square-foot Winter Garden foyer, which comes complete with a glass atrium ceiling, palm trees and a tiled water feature.
As for the Palm Level, you’ll find the 6,200-square-foot Palm Ballroom, which offers access to the Lady Palm Lawn and King Meadow Lawn.
The Palm Level also includes eight “distraction-free” meeting rooms, five of which have lakeside outdoor terraces.
The event area is located on the south side of the resort, strategically placed away from the resort activities, and features its own arrival
“We felt that today’s meeting planner and meeting attendee prefers to have all of their meeting and function space in one area and if it is free from other resort traffic that is a bonus!” Plott said.
For smaller meetings and events of up to 20 people, you’ll also find private, freestanding buildings, dubbed Lakeside East and Lakeside West. Each of the two rooms encompasses 400 square feet, complete with arched windows overlooking a terrace with a fireplace.
That’s not mentioning the food.
The banquet menus, designed by Executive Chef Fabrizio Schenardi, range from Italian to Mediterranean offerings.
At Ravello, one of the resort’s five on-site restaurants, there will even be team-building exercises and cooking classes provided.
“Having the ability to host a team-building event in our test kitchen is yet another unique offering we can provide for our meeting guests and give them an opportunity to network with the fellow meeting attendees,” Plott said. “Perhaps they will pick up some new tips and tricks to take home and use in their own kitchen!”
Four Seasons Orlando is currently featuring the “Great Group Values Offer.” If you book 10 or more guestrooms by Sept. 20, you can save up to 60 percent.
Four Seasons Orlando also works with travel agents, providing 10 percent commission.
