Enterprise Rent-A-Car has been known for the job opportunities it presents to college graduates, and the company has now been voted the No. 1 entry-level employer for graduating students by CollegeGrad.com.
According to Enterprise, the company’s continued dedication to the development of college graduates will result in 8,500 entry-level positions being filled and another 1,700 internships this year alone.
The full list of top entry-level employers can be found at CollegeGrad.com.
Enterprise vice president of talent acquisition, Marie Artim, released a statement about the company’s dedication to hiring qualified professionals with a college education:
“We’re always looking for talented individuals that can uphold our standards for customer service, add value to our team and become the future leaders of our business. We’re strong advocates for putting our new hires in a position to succeed, and it is part of our business model to promote employees from within.”
One of the reasons Enterprise was the top company in CollegeGrad.com’s recent survey is the management training program. With entry-level positions available at most of the more than 5,500 neighborhood and airport locations, Enterprise gives graduates the vital training and experience to succeed in the business world.
The training in this program gives college graduates hands-on experience that teaches them how to run a business, empower teams and provide excellent face-to-face customer service, lessons better learned in the field than in the classroom.
Add in the business acumen employees can develop by dealing with profit and loss management, business-to-business marketing, sales and logistics, and Enterprise being named the No. 1 ranking from CollegeGrad.com was no surprise.
