From Hawaii to the Arctic, destinations and sailings keep going on sale as cruise lines release new savings and specials. This time, Norwegian Cruise Line, Poseidon Expeditions and Star Clippers are up.
Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line continues its “Free at Sea” promotion through April 10, 2016 with the option to select one to four free perks depending on cabin category. The complimentary choices are as follows: free Unlimited Beverages, free Specialty Dining package, free shore excursion credits or a free 250 minute Wi-Fi package.
Travelers who reserve a new five-day or longer cruise in a studio, inside or oceanview stateroom can choose one of the above, and those who reserve a balcony or minisuite more than 30 days prior to the cruise can select two. Meanwhile, those guests who book a suite on The Haven by Norwegian will receive all four perks on their cruise. Plus, with “Friends & Family Sail Free,” third and fourth passengers can sail free on select cruises.
Specific to seven-day Hawaiian sailings, guests who reserve now through April 30, 2016 on the Pride of America in any cabin can choose one of the following four perks: a free one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, a free Specialty Dining Package, free pre-paid gratuities for the first and second guest in the stateroom or a free $50 per port shore excursion credits in up to four ports. And those booked in a suite will get all four.
Poseidon Expeditions
For a total change of pace, travelers can head north to the Russian Arctic aboard a nuclear icebreaker – the 50 Years of Victory – with special cruise savings of up to $2,000 per passenger plus free hotel nights and charter flights on reservations placed before April 30, 2016. The sale applies to a pair of 2016 sailings: July 10-23 and Aug. 1-14.
Specifically offered are pre- and post-cruise luxury hotel accommodations with breakfast and airport transfers, and roundtrip charter airfare from Helsinki to Murmansk. $1,000 per person savings apply to twin standard and mini suite bookings, and $2,000 per person savings apply to upper cabins.
Star Clippers
Star Clippers is offering a “Kids Sail Free Offer” for families traveling with kids and teens where those aged between 3 and 17 sail for free when accompanied by one or two adults in the same stateroom on select departures. When making the reservation, travel agents and cruisers should employ the following code: MULTIG.
Additionally, the line is offering an incentive to those past guests who refer their friends and family with membership in the Top Gallant Society Referral Program. Once those referred sail, themselves receiving $200 savings on their first cruise, the past guest will get a $400 discount on their next cruise. The future discount can increase to $800 for the past guest and $400 for the new cruiser per stateroom for 14-night and longer sailings.
Plus, Star Clippers will reward Top Gallant Society Members with a trio of special sailings – July 27 on Star Flyer, Oct. 8 on Royal Clipper and Dec. 9 on Star Clipper – with VIP benefits for 2016.
