One cruise line is going out of its way to show appreciation for the travel agent industry.
Carnival Cruise Lines will give away more than 1,600 free cruises to travel agents over the course of the next six weeks.
Agents will receive an entry for every booking they make between Dec. 16 and Jan. 31. Winners will be chosen at random and announced daily beginning on Dec. 23.
Winning agents can book their award cruise through a dedicated toll-free reservation line. They can select from a variety of itineraries departing between January and May and can bring up to three guests with them, based on availability. The prize does not include government fees and taxes, gratuities and onboard expenses.
“We wanted to round out 2013 and kick off 2014 with a program to show travel professionals that the initiatives we launched earlier this year are here to stay and are going to continue in a big way,” said Joni Rein, Carnival’s vice president of worldwide sales.
