Carnival Cruise Line is again improving its travel partner community by boosting three key areas: regional sales territories, independent agencies and a group desk line.
First, it has added four new sales territories in the United States with one for Boston and Rhode Island; one in Jacksonville, Florida; one in the Four Corners border area of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah; and one for West Texas. A business development manager will be assigned to each new region.
A fresh “Independent Agent Program” has been established to facilitate regional training, sector-specific webinars, exclusive newsletters and targeted support for the agent group. Sales directors Alicia Steuart and Sheila LeBlanc will lead the endeavors and will be assisted by various regional sales managers around the country.
“We created these new sales regions and the independent agent program to provide added business development support for travel partners,” said Carnival’s Vice President of Sales and Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez, in a press release.
“The growth in these geographies and the independent agent channel, combined with our recent preferred supplier agreements with TRAVELSAVERS/NEST, Signature and Ensemble, make this the right time for us to expand our field team resources.”
