Celebrity Cruises has extended its partnership with Bravo Media for more “Top Chef at Sea” cruises through 2016.
The premium line also announced a line-up of six “cheftestants” to sail on the Celebrity Reflection’s Nov. 14 cruise. The Eastern Caribbean cruise will feature Nina Compton, the “Top Chef: New Orleans” runner-up; Tiffany Derry, a contestant on the Washington D.C. show and “Top Chef All-Stars”; Ash Fulk, who was on the Las Vegas season; Gregory Gourdet, runner-up in Boston; Doug Adams, a finalist in the Boston series; and Chris Crary, a contestant in the Texas season.
The Top Chef Signature Sailing will offer a new option — local destination experiences hosted by a featured cheftestant. The signature sailing also will feature new duel-style cooking demonstrations when the cheftestants will battle each other while answering questions from fans, who will choose the winning dish. Also onboard and back by popular demand, passengers can book private cooking classes and dinners with the chefs.
In addition to the Top Chef Signature Sailing with the former contestants, Celebrity will continue to offer Quickfire Challenges and “Top Chef”-inspired menus on all sailings on nine ships through June 2016. Guests can choose to take part in the Quickfire Challenges, which are similar to those on the TV show.
