Celebrity Cruise’s 2019 season in Alaska is shaping up to be a good one.
The cruise line has already positioned a newly renovated Celebrity Millennium in the region alongside Celebrity Solstice. Now, it has announced the addition of a third ship.
“With Celebrity Millennium emerging fresh from the Celebrity Revolution – the largest investment the brand has ever made to modernize our fleet–longer port visits and one-of-a-kind cruisetour experiences, our 2019 Alaska season is shaping up to be the most impressive yet,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO, Celebrity Cruises. “Add to that the addition of Celebrity Eclipse and we have what promises to be an unrivaled season of unexpected splendor in the region."
Further highlights of the 2019 Alaska cruise season for Celebrity include longer stays and enhanced cruisetour options.
Celebrity Eclipse will sail roundtrip from Vancouver through the Inside Passage, calling in Ketchikan, Juneau, Hubbard Glacier, and more.
Eclipse will follow-up its Alaska season with sailing on the Pacific Coast. The ship will call in Monterey, Santa Barbara, Catalina, and more and offer overnight options in San Francisco.
Celebrity Millennium will return to Alaska fresh from the Celebrity Revolution upgrade, giving the ship redesigned staterooms and renovated public venues.

The ship will sail open-jaw cruises from Vancouver to Seward, Alaska.
Passengers looking to extend their stay in Alaska can book extended cruisetours with Celebrity. The line currently features 11 Alaska extensions that range from nine to 13 nights.
One example is the Canadian Rockies Cruisetour, which includes an overnight rail journey on “The Canadian.” The VIA Rail journey travels from Jasper to Vancouver with access to domed cars, parlor cars, and guests’ own private cabins.
While Celebrity is gearing up for an unprecedented season in Alaska, the cruise line is also getting ready to welcome a new expedition ship around the same time in 2019. The Celebrity Flora is scheduled to make her debut that May.
