CroisiEurope has most recently renovated the MS Douce France into MS Douce France II and is preparing its all new RV African Dream for the Chobe and Zambezi rivers come December 2017.
The newly inaugurated MS Douce France II is a sister-ship to the MS Symphonie which came online March 17, 2017. The 361-foot long and 36-foot wide vessel has been redesigned with a light contemporary decor dedicated to affordable luxury.
Public spaces feature a bar and lounge with a dance floor, restaurant, sun deck with chaise lounges and a boutique.
The ship carries 106 passengers in 55 cabins—four of which are single-occupancy, two are suites and one caters to guests with limited mobility. All accommodations include air-conditioning, a double bed convertible into twins, private bathroom, flatscreen TV, radio, hairdryer and safe. Upper deck staterooms have French balconies.
Included in the cruise fare are accommodations, the gala evening, onboard activities, meals, and beverages at the bar and with meals. A multilingual crew of 25 personally service guests.
The MS Douce France II sails along the Rhine on 4- to 7-day river cruises in the Moselle, Main and Rhine Valleys.
The RV African Dream will begin cruising in Southern Africa in December 2017. The luxury new-build is currently under construction at the Harare shipyard in Zimbabwe. It will be completed in August 2017 but then must traverse 1000 km across the African savanna to make it to Kasane, Botswana. To get to its homeport, the 13-foot long by 26-foot wide ship will have to be divided in two and carried by trailer.

Upon arrival, the vessel will cruise along the Chobe and Zambezi rivers on 4-day/3-night cruise-safaris followed by 5-day/4-night stays in the five-star Cascades lodge, which is owned by CroisiEurope. A day at Victoria Falls is also included in the journey.
The intimate RV African Dream only accommodates 16 guests in eight suites. Six of them have French balconies, while two are deluxe suites with larger balconies. Public venues include a panoramic restaurant, lounge bar and rooftop terrace. Guests will be serviced by eight crew members.
A second ship is already in the works for 2018.
