In a statement, MSC said, “In the 3.5 years that Ken has been at MSC Cruises, he has been instrumental in driving MSC’s expansion in the U.S. market, overseeing the North American teams responsible for generating sales on both the trade and consumer front and helping raise brand awareness.
“Ken has been a tremendous asset to the company and we are extremely fortunate to have benefited from his industry expertise and leadership over the past few years. We wish Ken all the best in his future endeavors.”

Prior to joining MSC Cruises, Muskat was already a veteran of the cruise industry with over 18 years with Royal Caribbean International under his belt. He was also bestowed the "Rising Star of the Travel Industry" award twice and presented The University of Hartford's Anchor Award.
Currently, Muskat is also the Chairman of CLIA Trade Relations Committee, so it stands to reason that his new role will be something else in the cruise industry. Ken added, “An official notice from the new company will be forthcoming.”
