After five years onboard the Norwegian Epic, the Legends in Concert tribute show will now call the Norwegian Pearl its home moving forward.
The tribute show has been a staple of the Las Vegas strip for 32 years, and Legends in Concert is regarded as the pioneer of the genre. For the shows on the Norwegian Pearl, officials have assembled a great collection of live tribute artists and celebrity look-alikes.
For the Norwegian Pearl's custom-designed concert series, Legends in Concert will present tribute artists for Madonna, Elton John and Tina Turner.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings vice president Richard Ambrose released a statement about the partnership, saying, "Norwegian Cruise Line is committed to pushing the envelope to provide the highest quality of entertainment at sea. Norwegian Epic revolutionized the cruise industry by being the first ship to offer branded entertainment experiences like Legends in Concert; we are thrilled to continue that legacy and bring this guest favorite to Norwegian Pearl."
Legends in Concert COO Brian Brigner also commented, saying, "We are honored to have another year-round Legends in Concert production aboard Norwegian Pearl as a part of our long-term multi-dimensional partnership with Norwegian. We will have the highest quality tribute acts in the world performing on Norwegian Pearl, and they will be joined by the always electrifying Legends singers and dancers and a rockin' live band."
The Norwegian Pearl is perfect for the Legends in Concert due to the fact that it already holds several music festivals and theme cruises each year, including several during the 2015-16 fall and winter season.
