Alaskan Dream Cruises
When booking select sailings through March 31, 2017, Alaskan Dream Cruises is providing each guest a $400 Alaska Airlines voucher. The promotion applies to certain May and June 7-night or 8-night Inside Passage itineraries: Alaska’s Islands, Whales and Glaciers; Alaska’s Glacier Bay and Island Adventure and Alaska’s Inside Passage Sojourn.
American Cruise Lines
Aboard its small cruise ships and paddle-wheelers, American Cruise Lines is making a free pre-cruise package available to all passengers sailing the Mississippi River and Columbia River. The complimentary perk includes a hotel stay and transfer to the ship.
Hotel choices for Mississippi cruises encompass the Omni Riverfront and the Intercontinental St. Charles in New Orleans and others still in Memphis, St. Louis, St. Paul, Nashville and Pittsburgh.
Columbia and Snake Rivers guests will get a free one-night stay in Clarkston, Washington, plus have the opportunity to buy a subsidized package that includes two nights there as well as a jet-boat excursion in Hells Canyon.
“The complimentary pre-cruise packages which started as a short-term promotion in 2016 have been so well received that they have been extended all the way through the 2017 schedule,” says Kallie Biggs, Travel Agent Market Manager. “Additional packages are being planned, including one in the Boston area.”
Fathom
Cruises on Fathom may be drawing to a close later this year, but until then it is extending $100 savings good towards half a dozen hybrid Dominican Republic and Cuba voyages that call on Santiago de Cuba. The limited time deal is only good through January 20, 2017, for the following departures to begin at only $499: February 26, March 12 and 26, April 9 and 23 and May 7, 2017.
“We continuously seek ways for our travelers to enjoy the beautifully vibrant people, sites and cultures of the countries we visit without having to break the bank,” said Tara Russell, president of Fathom and global impact lead for Carnival Corporation. “Travelers will be able to discover new possibilities, create new cultural connections and understanding and become part of something bigger, all while having a ton of fun and unleashing their own potential in creative and surprising new ways.”
Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line continues to extend its Free at Sea promotion through February 5, 2017, for wave season, making available a choice of up to five free perks and 50 percent reduced deposits.
Passengers who book a new three-day or longer cruise in oceanview, balcony or minisuite accommodations can select two of the following five free offers: unlimited open bar, Specialty Dining package, $50 shore excursions credit per port per cabin, a 250-minute WiFi package or Norwegian’s Kids Sail Free offer for complimentary third and fourth guest passage on select sailings.
Meanwhile, those in Inside or Studio staterooms can choose one of the aforementioned perks, and those in a suite or The Haven by Norwegian will receive all five.
In Hawaii specifically, Pride of America passengers in any newly booked cabin category can select one of the following five complimentary bonuses: one-night pre-cruise hotel stay with the opportunity to buy reduced airfare beginning at $399 from certain gateways, a Specialty Dining Package, pre-paid service charges for the first and second guest in the cabin, $50 per port shore excursion credit per cabin or Norwegian’s Kids Sail Free perk for third and fourth guests to sail free on select departures.
