On Wednesday, Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced that one of its ships, the Seven Seas Voyager, is scheduled to undergo renovations in October as part of the company’s $125 million fleet-wide refurbishment program.
The Seven Seas Voyager is the second Regent Seven Seas ship to undergo the renovations, following the Seven Seas Navigator. The next vessel to receive the upgrades will be the Seven Seas Mariner, which is scheduled to begin its refurbishment in April 2017.
Following the Seven Seas Voyager’s extensive 25-day dry dock for renovations, it will set sail on a 23-night Barcelona-to-Dubai cruise departing on Nov. 9. This voyage is also the annual Reunion Cruise and will be hosted by Regent Seven Seas Cruises president and CEO Jason Montague.
“This fleet-wide renovation brings a new level of elegance to the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet, strengthening our position as the undisputed leader in luxury cruising,” Montague said in a statement. “Our continued fleet investment ensures our ships look better today than the day they were delivered from the shipyard. We are making certain that we not only have the most luxurious ship ever built with Seven Seas Explorer, but the most luxurious fleet at sea.”
During its refurbishment, the Seven Seas Voyager will receive major upgrades to the Penthouse, Concierge and Deluxe Suites, improvements to the Compass Rose and La Veranda restaurants, the addition of the Chartreuse restaurant and renovations on the Pool Grill, Voyager Lounge and the ship’s reception area.
Beyond the aforementioned upgrades, passengers on the Seven Seas Voyager will also notice improvements to the Coffee Connection, Connoisseur Lounge, Card Room, boutiques, casino and Canyon Ranch SpaClub.
