For the spring season, several cruise lines are unveiling new savings and promotions, even thinking as far ahead as Christmas and New Year’s. Deep discounts are cutting as much as 50 percent off before bonus savings.
AdventureSmith Explorations
For bookings made through April 29, 2016, AdventureSmith Explorations is discounting its new eight-day sailings on the 24-guest Island Passage in French Polynesia by $1,350 per person.
The promotion applies to the May 22-29, May 29-June 5, June 5-12 and June 26-July 3 cruises. Before the discount, the fare is $3,875 per person, including accommodations, meals, all non-alcoholic and most alcoholic drinks, shore excursions, expedition gear use and an airport ferry transfer.
“Traditionally cruises on these waters are aboard much larger vessels accommodating from 120 guests and up,” said Todd Smith, AdventureSmith Explorations’ founder and president. “In stark contrast, the new Tahitian Affair that begins and ends in Bora Bora offers unparalleled intimacy in a relaxing, lagoon-cruising style highly suited to this environment.”
AmaWaterways
Looking ahead to the river cruise line’s Christmas Markets and New Year’s sailings, AmaWaterways is providing a sale for those who make a reservation through April 30, 2016.
Guests can receive up to 40 percent savings on the Danube and Rhine rivers aboard 26 cruises between November and December 2016 on the AmaCerto, AmaPrima, AmaSerena, AmaSonata, AmaStella and AmaViola. Seven-night Christmas Markets cruises begin at $1,680 per person, and New Year’s cruises start at $1,740 per person.
