Taking an exotic cruise is one of the easiest ways to check some of the world’s most remote destinations off your bucket list en masse. But it’s also a way to travel to far-flung locales in comfort rather than, say, roughing it in Greenland or backpacking through Southeast Asia.
Conde Nast Traveler writer Paul Brady has compiled a handy list of exotic cruises that can take you to these far-off locations.
One example is traveling the Indian Ocean onboard the Seabourn Encore. The sailing calls in India, Indonesia and Singapore.

You can also explore the Baltic region onboard the Viking Sky next year or travel the Polar regions with Crystal Cruises onboard the Crystal Serenity. Or, head to the warmer regions of the South Pacific with Paul Gauguin.
Some of Southeast Asia’s more remote destinations are reachable onboard Oceania’s Nautica, visiting Saigon, Bangkok and Sihanoukville.
Check out the full list here, including a music playlist to complete your journey.
