Top Themed Cruises for 2018
Cruise Line & Cruise Ship Lisa Iannucci November 02, 2017

Love to cruise and looking to spend the time at sea with some of your favorite professional athletes, musicians or TV show casts?
There's plenty to do if you know where to look.
Dallas Cowboys fans can cruise with some of your favorite players on a Fans Zone trip from New Orleans, Louisiana on February 26th. This cruise includes 4 to 6 former and current players to be announced, a private beach in Cozumel with games, autographs and pictures.
Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas sails from February 24 to March 1, 2018, with the 4th Annual Legends of Pittsburgh Cruise. It includes more than 20 sports legends from the Pittsburgh area, including dining with seven-time Pro Bowler Dermontti Dawson, (known as "Dirt" for the way he would try to grind defenders into the ground). Dawson was named to 7 straight Pro Bowls.
You can also meet “Mean” Joe Greene and Santonio Holmes, Louis Lipps, Mike Mitchell and more.
If you’re more of a Cheesehead (like me), rest assured there’s an opportunity for Green Bay Packers fans too. The cruise sails from March 10 to 15, 2018 on Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas, where you’ll enjoy Costa Maya and Cozumel with 20 current and former Packers Legends.
There are autograph sessions, Super Bowl rewinds and time to meet such legends as LeRoy Butler, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Paul Coffman, Najeh Davenport, Lynn Dickey, Ahman Green, Brett Hundley, James Lofton, and more.
If you’re a fan of Chris Jericho from his sports entertainment career in the WWE or for his role as frontman for Fozzy, you may want to book a slot on his four-day music and wrestling cruise, dubbed Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager At Sea. It sails from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas on October 27-31, 2018, on the Norwegian Jade ship. (Drink it in maaaan!)
Some of the acts already announced include Jim Ross, Diamond Dallas Page, Mick Foley, Ricky Steamboat, Rey Mysterio, Raven, Jim Breuer, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Kyng, The Dives and more.

For those who just would prefer to rock out without the wrestling or the sports, check out The Moody Blues Cruise, which sails from January 2-7, 2018.
The Zombies, Jefferson Starship, Dave Mason and other stars will headline the five-night event. It includes stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel, plus a free classic rock concert in Miami. While a full lineup of activities is still in the works, passengers can expect concerts throughout each cruise, a variety of themed games and opportunities to meet the stars. Fares start at $1,099 for an inside cabin, based on double occupancy.
Although it’s full, there is a waiting list for Hayley Williams and her crew at Paramore, who will host their own cruise April 6-10 from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas. Bookmark it because maybe they’ll do it again. (Ain’t it fun!?)

If you’re interested in going on a themed cruise and aren’t sure how to find one, simply put your favorite TV show or band in the search bar with “cruise” after it. That’s how I also found cruises for The Walking Dead, Impractical Jokers, Star Trek and more.
