February is Love Month in Bermuda
Destination & Tourism Brian Major January 07, 2014

Love is in the air in Bermuda, where the Department of Tourism has designated February “Love Month,” with a series of free public events and activities designed for romantic couples traveling in search of opportunities to re-connect.
Upcoming Love Month events include a couple’s golf tournament at the Port Royal Golf Course on Monday and Thursdays in February. Participating couples will receive a 50 percent discount on green fees, including use of a cart, and tournament winners will receive prizes from Department of Tourism officials.
The Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, which features works by Winslow Homer, Georgia O’Keeffe, Marsden Hartley, Charles Demuth and Henry Moore, will offer a “Champagne & Strawberries Afternoon Affair” featuring complimentary access and guided tours on Tuesdays, with champagne, chocolates and fruit served in the museum’s rose garden.
Also in February “Love Train” tours will depart from Front Street in the capital of Hamilton for guided tours of romantic spots around Hamilton. While on board, guests will learn about the city’s attractions with opportunities to historical sites. Visitors can also opt for glass-blowing demonstrations at Maritime Lane, Royal Naval Dockyard.
