Google released its annual Zeitgeist report on Tuesday, highlighting the wedding destinations and honeymoon locations that trended the most from 2012.
Not surprisingly, warmer weather went hand-in-hand with the top wedding destinations and honeymoon locations, as the tropical Caribbean was a popular place among the lovebirds.
The top trending wedding destinations were (in order): Mexico (pictured above), the Bahamas, Kauai, the Caribbean, Jamaica, Italy, Las Vegas, Florida, Costa Rica and Bermuda.
The top trending honeymoon locations were (in order): New Zealand, Cancun, Maldives, Bali, Thailand, Belize, St. Lucia, Tahiti, the Caribbean and Croatia.
The top trending restaurants in the world were (in order): Nobu, NoMad Restaurant, mas (farmhouse), Gramercy Tavern, Bouley, Daniel, Gotham Bar & Grill, A Voce, Lincoln Ristorante and Atlantic Grill.
Google covered 72 countries in the 2013 year-end Zeitgeist, compared to 55 countries in 2012. It is the company's most comprehensive and global list so far.
Google also has some plans in store. It is about to merge Zeitgeist with Google Trends, as well as archive the past 12 years of Zeitgeist lists on the website. It also plans to have interactive data visualization where you can check out the top daily trending searches from more than 150 countries on the planet.
