How Safe Is It to Visit Germany?

After a series of attacks throughout the country, many are asking if it is safe to visit Germany.
According to Bavarian interior minister Joachim Herrmann, who spoke to the Telegraph after the most recent incident of a suicide bomber attacking a festival, the violence is unsettling.
“We don’t know if this man planned on suicide or if he had the intention of killing others. Unfortunately, this is a terrible new attack which will surely increase people’s anxiety.”
While much is still unknown, Germany remains relatively safe and trouble free for visitors. The U.K.’s Foreign Office has not imposed any travel restrictions on its citizens, however, it advises that visitors in the region of Ansbach should follow the advice of local authorities and warns of a “high threat from terrorism,” according to the Telegraph.
